Billboard Hot 100, Week Ending 03/01/09

1. Single Ladies - Beyonce

First chart of the year and Beyonce still rules the chart with, "Single Ladies", carrying on from her 2 week run from last, this is the second time Beyonce carries on a run in 2 separate years, in 2006, "Irreplaceable", topped the chart for 3 weeks, and carried on it's in 2007 for 7 weeks.

2. Just Dance - Lady GaGa

Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" rises to a new peak at #2, setting a new record for the biggest one week digital sales for a female artist. The song moved over 450,000 digital copies this week.

5. Love Story - Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift's, "Love Story", breaks into the top 5, becoming her first US top 10, thanks to last weeks heavy digital sales, helping it claim a new peak of #3 on the digital songs tally.

21. I Hate This Part - Pussycat Dolls

After the flop of "Watcha Think About That" The Pussycat Dolls quicky followed it up with "I Hate This Part" a great piano backed number with a kicking bassline. The songs is already proving itself a success in the UK and now is transferring to the US, the song rises to #21 this week, scoring their 7th top 40 single, follwoing "When I Grow Up," "Wait a Minute," "Beep," "Buttons," "Stick Witchu" and "Don't Cha."

27. Crush - David Archuleta

Last Year, American Idol runner up, David Archuleta's debut single "Crush" has an amazing debut at #2, but quickily sank down to the mid-point of the chart. This week it makes quite a solid comeback rising 45-27.
